Designed by Pat Lawlor Design and Stern Pinball, the CSI pinball machine adapts CBS’s original Las Vegas-based CSI : CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION® television series into a pinball machine. The CSI pinball machine will surely appeal to fans of all three CSI television shows, as well as homeowners and street operators alike.

Stern Pinball, Inc. announced an exciting new pinball machine for basketball and pinball enthusiasts. The new NBA pinball machine launched during the 2009 NBA playoffs, featuring 20 players from 20 different NBA teams.

NBA pinball offers several popular pinball mechanical features, including a spinning disk in the playfield center, a captive ball, drop targets, ramps, a diverter, and much more.

NBA pinball has a basketball backboard with a magnet in its center. When the player shoots a basket, the magnet holds the ball momentarily and then drops it toward the basket, assisting the player. NBA has three spectacular basketball shots. There is a ramp shot off the flippers aimed at the basket. There is also a jump shot, made when the ball goes up a plastic ramp and circles just below the basket. And there is a free throw shot, where the ball is thrown 12 inches through the air to the basket.

Everybody’s favorite Ogre is making his way to pinball ! DreamWorks Animation’s SHREK® franchise is the highest grossing animated movie franchise of all time and now has an officially-licensed pinball machine.

Pat Lawlor Design, along with software and rules designers Lonnie Ropp and Mike Kyzivat, designed the SHREK pinball, featuring eye-popping, original art from John Youssi, newly elected Pinball Hall of Fame artist. Mark Galvez and Tom Kyzivat created original dot matrix display art for the pinball.

The SHREK pinball machine’s main feature is Donkey’s mini-playfield, a small pinball playfield that sits in the upper right hand corner. It has mini-flippers that the player controls with the regular flipper buttons when the game is in ‘Donkey mini-playfield’ mode. The mini-playfield has ramps and targets to shoot at while an actual Donkey figurine spins in front of the mini-playfield.
